震災から2年を迎えるにあたり、東日本大震災を科学の目で見つめ直すイベント「るねっサイエンス」が仙台市科学館で行なわれました。ここで、「放射線について学ぼう」と題して、ポケットガイガーを使った親子向けの無料ワークショップを行ないました。

We organized a free workshop for children and parents to fabricate our radiation detector named Pocket Geiger type1 in Sendai Science Museum located in Tohoku area in Japan in March 10, 2013, as a part of two year anniversary event of the Tohoku earthquake and the nuclear power plant accident.
